Frequently asked questions

Does Singapore enforce the 6-month rule?
Yes — strictly. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your date of entry into Singapore, including for short transits where you'll clear immigration.
Do I need a visa for Singapore?
UK, US, EU, Australian and most Western passport holders can enter visa-free for short stays (typically 30–90 days).
What about Changi transits?
If you stay airside in Changi without clearing immigration, the 6-month rule doesn't apply to you — but the airline may still check. If you're transferring through the city or with a long layover, treat it as full entry.
Do I need a blank passport page?
Yes — at least one blank page for the Singapore entry stamp.
